Municipality of Bingawan joins the celebration of the 2019 Cooperative Month Celebration. This years’ theme: COOPERATIVISM: A Countervailing force against Climate Change and Violent Extremism through People empowerment to trailblaze shift in paradigm towards sustainability and social inclusion!. Various activities will be conducted in line with the month-long celebration. There are 3 major cooperatives in the municipality of Bingawan, Iloilo, the KABALIKAT Multi-purpose Cooperative, GUINTAPAGIN Agrarian Reform Cooperative and Bingawan Government Employees Credit Cooperative.
The current administration headed by Honorable Mayor Mark P. Palabrica gives full support to the cooperatives, evidence of it was the yearly financial assistance extended to the cooperatives in the municipality.
